  A place where you can return to the origins of the Ichijo family and take a deep breath.

  The story begins about 500 years ago, when the first head of the Ichijo family, a nobleman from Kyoto, opened an inn in Kamasaki. Even as it transformed from a hot springs resort to a hot spring inn and a resort hotel, it has continued to maintain its "spirit of hospitality." THE YUKAWA Ichijo Branch is a completely new building. However, the weight of history and stories live in the air, materials, and furnishings that flow there. We will return to the original intentions of Ichijo when it was founded to create new value and provide new discoveries and excitement. The Ichijo Branch was once located in front of Shiroishi Station. We have been welcoming travelers for over 100 years. Until about 40 years ago, it served as the station office of Ichijo Ryokan. The door of the Ichijo Branch, which had been carefully preserved by the locals, has been reused as the entrance door of THE YUKAWA. Beyond the historic door, you will find a relaxing space where nature and people coexist in harmony. All of our dishes are handmade with care. You can relax and enjoy the sounds of the river while dining on our private terrace or on the terrace of your room.
