  A place where you can return to the origins of the Ichijo family and take a deep breath.

  Our story begins approximately 500 years ago, when the first head of the Ichijo family, descendants of Kyoto nobles, opened an inn in Kamasaki. Even as it evolved from a therapeutic hot spring resort to a hot spring inn and then a resort hotel, it has continued to uphold its "spirit of hospitality." THE YUKAWA Ichijo Branch is a completely new building. However, the weight of history and stories breathe life into the air, materials, and every aspect of the facility. By returning to the original spirit of Ichijo's founding, we create new value and offer new discoveries and inspirations. The Ichijo Branch was formerly located in front of Shiroishi Station. It has been welcoming travelers for over 100 years. Until approximately 40 years ago, it served as the Ichijo Ryokan's station office. The door from the Ichijo Branch, which had been carefully preserved by the local community, has been reused as the entrance door to THE YUKAWA. Beyond this historic door lies a peaceful space where nature and people coexist in harmony. All dishes are handmade with love. In the private dining room with an open terrace, you can relax and enjoy the sounds of the river.
